BREAKING NEWS! SPLM Chief Whip Tulio Odongi announced President Salva Kiir’s decree relieving Speaker Jema Nunu Kuma and her deputy, Paramena Awerial, during a Tuesday sitting.
Two SPLM lawmakers said the decision to remove Nunu was reached during a caucus meeting in Juba on Tuesday.
“I would like to confirm that it is true. There is a move like that. We have already communicated our position today,” one lawmaker said.
