Single Dee started his singing in the year 2009 while in high school band. He continued to pursue a course of medicine in the University of Nairobi. but due to the conflict in South Sudan and the economic crisis he had to drop out from the university.
In the year 2017 Single Dee joined the music in South Sudan
Single Dee won awards at SSTYA (South Sudan youth talent award) awarded him two awards. Best R&B artist of the Year 2018 and best song of the Year 2018 his single “About to go down” and continued to win 3 more awards in 2018. Single Dee became a peace activist and a member of ANATABAN ARTS INITIATIVE SOUTH SUDAN. He also performed in (HAGANA FESTIVAL) Organised by anataban art initiative.
In the year 2025 , Single dee featured Alikiba in a new song “FOCUS”, is a stellar cross-border collaboration that pairs Alikiba’s smooth Bongo Flava finesse with Single Dee’s vibrant South Sudanese energy. The track blends East African rhythms with modern Afro-fusion to deliver a heartfelt message about determination, love, and staying true to what matters. Performed in a rich mix of Swahili, English, and Arabic, it doubles as a cultural bridge celebrating heritage, unity, and the beauty of African diversity
