The President of the South Sudan Football Federation (SSFF), Mr. Francis Amin Michael, met with MTN South Sudan CEO Ms. Mapula Bodibe for constructive discussions on the challenges facing football in South Sudan.
The meeting included a brief evaluation of the sponsorship challenges faced during the past season and outlined the way forward. Both parties commended each other for their good collaboration in uplifting football in South Sudan, while MTN pledged to address the challenges within the means available to it.
President Francis Amin Michael thanked MTN for its continued support and expressed hope for the continuation of the partnership. The two sides also set up teams to finalize preparations for the opening game of the 2026–2027 season.
The engagement highlighted the importance of collaboration, partnership, and a shared commitment to creating greater opportunities for footballers, nurturing local talent, and strengthening the future of the beautiful game in South Sudan.
