Government rejects claims on False claims on Sale of Equatoria Tower commitment to its constitution Al mandate of protecting public Assets
The Adhoc Committee mandated to review the partnership agreement between the Central Equatoria State Government and “๐๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐” has convened a consultative meeting with the Acting Governor, H.E Paulino Lukudu Obede, to brief him on the latest developments surrounding the joint venture.
Following the meeting, the State Government noted with concern the circulation of misleading information on social media alleging the sale of the “๐๐ช๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐๐ซ ” . The Government categorically rejects these claims, describing them as baseless, unfounded, and part of a deliberate misinformation campaign driven by individuals with ulterior political motives.
The Central Equatoria State Government therefore urges the public to disregard such allegations and remains resolute in condemning the spread of false and misleading information.
The Government further reaffirms its commitment to responsible governance that not only serves the needs of the present generation but also safeguards the interests of future generations. In this regard, it remains steadfast in protecting public and government assets.
