A heavy Rain that tragically claimed the lives of nine 9 people, including a child, after a Toyota 3 doors Land Cruiser traveling to kajo keji was swept away by fast-flowing waters at a local bridge known as ‘Lubajo’
In his latest post published on his facebook page he said ,
I have learnt with great sadness the death of nine people as a result of the yesterday’s relentless rain.
I extend my deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the bereaved families, and the entire Kajo-Keji Community following the tragic loss of nine precious lives in the devastating incident at Lu’bajo stream.This heartbreaking event, which claimed the lives of innocent mourners on their way to pay their final respects, is a profound reminder of the vulnerabilities our communities face during extreme weather conditions. We mourn with the families who have lost their loved ones and stand in solidarity with all those affected.This tragic incident highlights the most urgent need for solidarity and collective action to alleviate the suffering of our fellow citizens in distress. I therefore call upon all citizens to unite in providing support and assistance wherever possible. Furthermore, it is through our shared determination and compassion that we can help rebuild lives and restore hope amidst this very disruption.
May the souls of the departed rest in eternal peace, and may God grant strength, comfort, and healing to the injured ,who are currently undergoing further medical care and to all those grieving during this profound loss and moment of despair.
