A heavy Rain has tragically claimed the lives of nine 9 people, including a child, after a Toyota 3 doors Land Cruiser traveling to kajo keji was swept away by fast-flowing waters at a local bridge known as ‘Lubajo’
In a statement to the community, Chairperson of the Kajokeji Community Organization, Aggrey Tisa Sabuni, confirmed that the vehicle was part of a convoy traveling from Juba to Bori Boma. “The Irish bridge that connects Lilye and the airlanding strip got completely covered by fast flowing water.
One of the victims is my grand daughter.” He added.
Five passengers survived the incident while authorities and local residents are responding to assist those affected by the tragedy.
All government institutions, Health workers, Churches ,private sectors , schools, others institutions and the whole community have gathered at Revival cathedral to mourn the lives of the deceased in the incident that happened at Lubajo Stream of Kajo-Keji county Central Equatoria State, South Sudan.
