The court of Arbitration for Sport has confirmed the Senegalese Football Federation has Appealed the decision to strip them of their AFCON title.
Senegal have also requested an immediate suspension of the time limit to submit an appeal brief until the CAF Decision is notified with full grounds.
Morocco were awarded the 2025 crown after confederation of African Football over turned the final following Senegal’s controversial walk off.
Senegal had originally beaten Morocco 1-0 in the final on 18th January, but the result was later revised to 3-0 victory to Morocco.
