France have beaten Brazil 2-1  for the first time in FIFTEEN years!. They last met in an international match in 2015, when Brazil won 3-1.

Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring with a brilliant chip and Hugo Ekitike added a second with a similar finish.

In a friendly played in Massachusetts ahead of the World Cup, the European side took the lead in the first half with a goal from Kylian Mbappé. In the second half, Hugo Ekitike extended the advantage after another play assisted by Michael Olise.

In the second half, France was reduced to ten men after Dayot Upamecano was sent off. From that point on, Brazil pulled one back through Bremer, but it was not enough to level the match.
