People are participating across America in many demonstrations to show their opposition to what President Donald Trump is doing, particularly with regards to military strikes against Iran.
The groups who organized the demonstrations have announced that they will rally this Saturday in all 50 states and over 3000 locations. The No Kings movement, which has organized the protests, is attempting to protest at a level not seen before.
This upcoming week marks a month since President Trump and Israel began their military actions against Iran. Many demonstrators in Washington, D.C. were carrying signs that demanded an end to the war and wanted an explanation for rising gas prices.
A 67-year-old woman from Pennsylvania told a reporter that Iran is run by a tyrant who oppresses his citizens; she questioned if it is justified for the United States to attack Iran when they pose no real threat to the United States.
She also suggested that the purpose of this military action by our government is to take the attention of all people away from the sex offender Jeffrey Epstein (who committed suicide recently) and the scandal that surrounds him, to which President Trump states that the last time he had any association with Epstein was approximately 20 years ago.
An 18-year-old boy said that he is concerned that American troops will go into Iran on the ground.
