Akon was supposed to walk away with half of his ex-wife’s $2 million after their divorce but he shocked everyone by refusing a single dollar.
After 21 years together, she filed for divorce, only to discover Akon had just $10k to his name, a few debts, and no assets at all. Since she was the richer partner, the court ordered her to split the $2 million with him.
But Akon said no thanks, leaving all the money with her “because of the kids.”
