The Senior Presidential Special Envoy, Hon. Adut Kiir, on Tuesday met with Amb. Liberata Mulamula, the African Union (AU) Special Envoy on Women, Peace and Security.
Amb. Mulamula stated that her delegation’s visit aimed to reaffirm the African Union’s solidarity with the women of South Sudan, as well as with the wider society, youth, and political actors who continue to shape the nation’s future.
She emphasized the AU’s commitment to supporting inclusive engagement among all stakeholders as South Sudan advances its national priorities.
Hon. Adut Kiir welcomed the delegation’s support and reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring women’s meaningful participation in peacebuilding and national development.
